Game cards based on the actual Lego Creationary game. Colours or coloured images to be stuck onto a 6 sided die. Roll the die to choose a category, pick up a game card and turn the timer to create your model. Other players to guess what your model is. x2 is double points if the model is guessed correctly. ? means the player can choose any of the images on their card. Each time a model is guessed correctly, you get a piece of your favourite colour Lego. Winner is the first to build a tower of 10 pieces.

An assembly PowerPoint based on FIFA's World Cup website to introduce the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. Cover a small amount on the country, as well as Brazilian football past, qualifying teams, the 2014 Brazil kit, and World Cup mascots. Ending with a short video.

A short introduction to describing pumpkins, both on the outside and inside. Activity inspired by A-Z Teacher Stuff (lessons atoz) to make a non fiction pumpkin book. Children to write words, phrases or sentences to describe the outside and inside of the pumpkin. Can cut orange wool and seeds to stick on the inside of the book to illustrate.

4 images of zoo animals in a 'cage&'. To be laminated and hole-punched, or stuck onto thick card and small snips at the top and bottom edges made. The children can then lace a thread or weave some string/wool, depending on their fine motor ability. Their lacing/weaving will become the bars of the cage. Based on ABC Does' blog posts this week on Dough Gym, but in PowerPoint form for staff training and parent workshops. Includes gross motor and fine motor development, ideas on how to create a dough gym, additional &'funky fingers&'; ideas for child initiated activities to improve fine motor control, and malleable material recipes/ideas.

Pictures taken from the Hygiene4Health education pack. I have blown up the pictures and made them into cut and stick boxes for sequencing the 9-step order to correct hand-washing. I am not affiliated to this company, but have used it to teach hand-washing; the lesson plans worked really well with 3-5 year olds.

Board game designed to celebrate the 2012 Olympic games. Start at the Wenlock mascot and travel around. When you land on a medal space, get that coloured Olympic ring. Can move between rings using the 2012 logo space. Winner is the person that has collected all five coloured rings and raced to the Mandeville mascot to end. Hope you enjoy playing.
